My experience
I have worked in the cultural heritage sector since 1991, with experience working as a Museum Education Officer and Education Manager. I have teaching and museum learning qualifications and a broad experience within arts and heritage learning, working directly with a wide range of audiences including schools, families and older learners.
I have provided professional consultancy services to the cultural heritage sector since 2006. I have been a mentor on the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Register of Support Services since 2013, which has given me a wide experience of the Heritage Fund, its applicants and grantees.
I am also a member of Cultural Consulting Network (CCN). This enables me to work alongside a team of highly experienced heritage consultants to deliver large-scale projects.

Working to support your project
My approach is informed by my experience of planning and delivering a wide range of projects. It is always strongly rooted in the client organisation, type of project and participants.
I work closely with project teams, making sure I have fully understood all aspects of the brief and the specific context of the work and the organisation’s ways of working. I like to share skills, enabling my clients to be better informed and more confident about commissioning and undertaking future development work.
Feedback from previous clients highlights my flexible approach, ability to listen, work alongside and where necessary give sensible guidance. I genuinely enjoy my work and greet new projects with the enthusiasm I know the client shares.

“Thank you for an inspiring and thought-provoking morning. It was really helpful to think through the work we are doing with young people and have suggested structures and ways forward.”
